Finally, we are at the finals of this year’s Indian Premier League. For the first time, this season was completed with 2 schedules in 2 countries. The first one was going smoothly until the sudden boom in the pandemic cases. The board was forced to postpone the tournament. Then it was confirmed that the second schedule will be conducted in UAE, and now we are at the finals.
Like all the predecessors, this year’s matches were incredible and had many outstanding moments to cherish. The action kept increasing in each match. We had witnessed many promising youngsters coming through the rank & showcasing their talent to the world. We were able to find a brighter future to team India through players like Rituraj Gaikwad, Devdutt Padikkal, Avesh Khan, Shivam Mavi, Umran Malik, etc. just to name a few. IPL is proving again and again that this is the best platform to bring junior players into the limelight.
Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders are going all out for the top prized possession. As always Captain Cool and his boys are the most favorites going on towards the match. It was the captain himself who pawed the team to the finals with his exceptional finishing in the last match. Chennai is in line towards their 4th IPL Cup and this is their 9th finals. Dhoni had accomplished literally everything in cricket in his already illustrious career. He will be looking to add another feather to his golden cap with today’s Cup.
Whereas Kolkata Knight Riders have a lot to prove. They haven’t had an IPL Cup for a long time. They are in line for their 3rd Cup. Morgan and the team will give a tough competition for Thala and the gang. The match is set to happen in Sharjah today at 7:30 PM IST.
