“Mr. Karthik admitted to the Level 1 offense 2.2 of the IPL’s Code of Conduct and accepted the sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the Match Referee’s decision is final and binding.”
as per IPL Regulatory
Dinesh Karthik is well known for his calm and cool persona since the starting of his career. He even acts as the peacemaker when things started to get heated in between Ashwin & Morgan. He was literally fuming after he got bowled, even hitting the stumps with his hand. This caused the IPL committee to reprimand him.
He is now all set to compete in his first IPL finals since 2021. Kolkata is set to play against Chennai in the finals at Sharjah.
