A well-fought ODI match as Pakistan won the first match of the 3-match ODI series by 6 wickets. The Babar Azam-led side won the toss and decided to field first. Kiwis struggled to take wickets. the spinners persisted to stay for a long period even though they were not able to pick wickets or build pressure. Only Michael Bracewell looked effective in the match.
